Problem with high resistance.
ok im lost.. Ill start from the top. I have a 1990 S5 TII I had a LIM gasket fail and was burning coolant on the manifold. so i took both intakes off, turbo and exhaust mani cause it had a crack. since everything was off i decided to delete emissions, rats nest,, cat, air pump. got a different engine harness because the one that was in the car was cut. since i was deleting the solenoids and stuff my brother decided he wanted to de loom the harness and delete the pins that didnt need to be used. put it all back together.
Ive been having nothing but problems now. when i accelerate i get a hesitation until i get to 6k rpm then i stops or isnt as bad. when cruising or maintaining speed i get a jerking feeling. i can feel the whole car kind of jerk back n forth. i've been trying to trouble shoot. I was testing the o2 sensor and found 81.2 ohms of resistance. the connector for the BAC has like 235.3 ohms of resistance.
I looked at the fsm where is shows the connectors for the ECU and tells you what pin is what. well from what the FSM says the pins my brother deleted are
Pin 1M trailing coil with igniter,
pin 1N- crank angle sensor
Pin 3A- ground
Pin- 3B starter switch. but it starts?
so do i need a new engine harness?

You definitely need the first three pins on your list. Again, definitely. Pin 3B tells the ECU the engine is being started and then the ECU uses this info to decide what fuel map to use, one that adds a lot of fuel or one which uses a lesser amount of fuel. W/o that pin the ECU defaults to a lesser amount which is okay if the engine isn't too cold but when winter roles around it might need that pin so the ECU can inject more fuel necessary to start a cold engine especially since you live in Minnesota I suppose.

and there is one other pin missing
1S- port air solenoid
which is probably the only one that should have been deleted....
damnit.. it took me forever to find a clean un cut harness last time. i knew it was a bad idea to delete **** off there.. sorry for my language.. and thats for your info and hope to get some more info
Thanks again all! and anyone with a clean un cut N370 engine harness let me know ha!
