Problem FC Turbo please HELP!!!!!!!

Hi everybody,

I have just bought an FC Turbo S5, and the turbo flows at different pression sometimes with the same position of accel pedal and revs.

Other problem is that it is hard to start when hot, (probably injectors are dirty?).

Any other question: how can I get the ECU? I have already search everywhere in the forum and in the manual, passenger box was removed but I cant find it.

Thanks a lot

Cheers from Spain (sorry because of my English level )

The ECU should be located under the passenger floorboard( If Left-Hand Drive).

Yea it's a real pain in the *** to get to though. You've got to remove all the carpeting off the passenger side. To REALLY get to it you should take out the dash to really pull back the carpet, in my experience anyway. But it's right there, right where the passenger would place their right foot.

I'm pretty sure you can get plenty of access by just pulling off a couple interior panels then pulling the carpet to the side versus detaching the dash.

your turbo issue needs more clarification. you should build more boost when you're throttling it harder, and on the other hand build less boost when you're coasting, accelerating at light to mid throttle, and when you're off the gas completely.

I refered that boost is different sometimes (always at full open gases) nad I dont know why. I am thinking on waste gate, injector, spark plugs...or even ECU that controlles the solenoid valve of waste gate... I am lost. Thanks for asking for explanation

if you have the stock exhaust, you might have some weird exhaust issues, possibly some variant of a clogged cat. if not the stock exhaust, maybe you're seeing boost creep or something.

I'm still not real clear on your problem, but maybe you aren't either. sometimes these things need to be tested (by you) and just try a number of different things and see if you can reproduce results. documented behavior patterns (or lack of patterns) are more helpful. maybe you have done this, if so just try to lay out the results for us.
