Primary/Secondary injector sizing

Ok, I have asked this question in the Microtech section but only got one responce. I do appreciate the responce but would like a few more opinions on this since I am still hearing different things from different people I know.

Will I be ok running 550cc primaries and 1000cc secondaries on my series 4 motor with a Microtech LTX-8? Some people say that is too much of a change and some say it will be fine. Anyone using this set up or much larger secondaries?

Also will I be ok with running the stock series 4 fuel pressure regulator?

(I do have a set of 85 gsl-se injectors that were cleaned and tested at 720 cc by RC engineering so I could through those in the primary but don't really want to since my base map was set for the 550's.

My car is as follows. It's an 85 S model (no sunroof) with a series 4 turbo motor (stock internals). Series 5 turbo with a BNR stage 2. Micrtoech ltx8, bosch fuel pump, cheap ebay intercooler, griffen radiator, Guru lsd, gls-se fuel tank and pickup. Suspension and wheels to come once I get this thing going.

Thanks

Should be fine. I don't see why people are saying that it's too much of a change since the Microtech gives you full controll over injector staging time and percent...

Yes, the S4 fuel pressure regulator is fine as well.

As far as sizing vs. HP go here:

I've heard that going too big on secondary can cause issues, and running 720's on the front are better...are you planning to go bigger than a BNR stage 2? Because 1000cc's would be plenty...you could probably get away with 4 720's.
