Price is right?

1988 TII, 150k, Fair Condition.

What would you pay?

Offer is 2000... is this a good price or should I be worrying about something with the car? The carfax was clean. I'm thinking that with that price, I will get the car and use the leftover money for a complete tune up.

Overall the car looked pretty decent, haven't had it started up but the paint looked to be all original and the interior had the wear expected to be in a 17 year old car... going back to check out the mechanicals.

Can you take it out for a test drive, because that is really important if the car is only 2k with 150000 miles.

2 to 2.5 is a avg going price for a good one. If stock motor I am sure it is a little tired by now. I would want to pay between 1.5 and 1.7.

around me, you'd be lucky to find a nice running one for less than 3000...
