Question Price on rebuild and street port-n-polish....

Anyone in the NJ/NY area that can do a fairly cheap, but high quality job? I got a price for $1400 w/labor from a guy who has a 9 sec. rotary Starlet. Just wanted to see if anyone could do any better. I low on cash so it would have to be a payment-type deal. That IS asking alot, but I hope you people understand....

Wow, $1400 with labor. Man hit them up if they can offer a warranty and stand behind it. I mean I found a price of $2300 for a street port and rebuild with labor from the best of the best around here. $1200 is labor.

No warranty....but I really have no other options....I know it would SO stupid for me throw $1400 into the car without a warranty, but I might be able to set up a payment type deal. If I had the money, I'd call KDR and make an appointment tommorrow. But, not too many people have money to throw around like that....Hell, I know I certainly don't

Wouldn't be able to tell you off hand....the site is down. I'll find out tommorrow anyway 'cause I'm going to add a base run to my compression check and full-tech inspection which I'm getting done on the 11th of Feb.. Yup, that's the first open date he had. It's probably more than your price, though....not sure....I'll post back tommorrow with the price....if that's ok with Dave....

O ok, hey why not buy the materials and rebuild it yourself? You can port it how much you want, pretty sure people on here can help you out alot and there might be someone near you that will come by to help you.

Man I think you need to tell them where you live, lol. Where is GCP? Call some places up about rebuild kits like rx7.com or racingbeat.com
