Price Check: 1989 GTU, What do ya think?

I'm thinking of selling my 1989 GTU, here's what it comes with:

1989 Mazda RX-7 GTU
144,000 miles
~6,000 miles on rebuilt by Jeff at Rotary Power
2.5" Single cat-back exhaust
*GOOD* brand new paint job (7 coats of paint, 3 coats of clear)

How much should I sell this for?

DONT SELL!!

Sell the CAR?? Keep it! I'd keep the car and drive it for the rest of my life. My T2 is going to outlive ME! But if you really need to sell it, I'd say around $4500 - 5000 just cuz of the rebuild and the hefty paint job.

What kind of exhaust is on it? Tempting... I might buy it!

Rebuild, not a turbo, what about the tranny/clutch?

If EVERYTHING is in good shape, 4K, keep in mind that other things have quite a few miles on it such as the diff, driveshaft, hubs, calipers, switches, electronics, yada yada.

Reasonable (what I would pay) would be closer to 3K due to the miles on the chassis.

$4000 with proof of the new motor and everything in good condition (all the lights work, stock radio, no funky mods), but I would try and talk you down to $3500

Thanks for the input, it'll be sold for $4000+ if I do sell it as you will never ever find another rex this clean. Keep on a look out if you're willing to pay the premium for a car in awesome condition. Thanks
