How much did the 2nd gen cost when it was first introduced?

gxl gx gtu convertible

and then the new series 89-91?

IIRC a 10th AE was ~$24,500.

Don't know if this is what you're looking for. From the window sticker of my '88 'Vert P-Package: Base Price: $24,050. Add Air Conditioning: $860. Subtotal: $24,910. Add Freight: $235 Total Sticker Price: $25,145.

$25K in 1988 would be equal to $42,793.74 in 2006 according to the US Consumer Price Index.

So that's why a 350Z or a RX-8 is a better value than how they left off in the 90's.

A $37K RX-7 in 1995 would be equal to $49,163.39 in 2006.

Thats also why all the japaneese "supercars" died off in the mid 90s. I think a lot of that had to do with the Yen shooting up in value.
