precision injector sleeve question?

I have 4 precision injectors that I am installing along with kg parts fuel rails on my turbo rx7.
The precision injectors came with an aluminum sleeve that I need to install in the injector sockets.
In the stock turbo II injector holes are plastic inserts that look like filters where the stock injectors sit in.” see picture below"

My problem is ~~~> if I don’t take out the stock plastic insert the precision injectors are about a quarter of an inch too high.

If I take out the plastic insert then the aluminum sleeves that came with the precision injectors fall inside the stock socket.

What should I do.??

Having never installed precision injectors on anything, I couldn't tell you a truthful answer.

Consult the manufacturer. Usually they'll be glad to offer some assistance and insight.

Sounds like either the injectors are wrong, the aluminium spacer is wrong, or the spacer's not supposed to be there. As above, consult the supplier.
