Powersteering belt

Went to my nearby canadian tire store and picked up an powersteering belt. They checked the computer and found the correct number, but when I brought it home, the belt is significantly larger than my old one. The number they gave me was 17425. I'm going to go and just ask for a smaller one. Anyone else find that this problem?

Me too. I swapped out my PS Belt right In the parking lot. I noticed the belt I bought was bigger. So I asked for a new one but this time I brought In my old one for verification purposes.

You've seen the packaging on these belts...It's very easy to have the packaging slip off and perhaps be swapped with a different packaging.
