Talking Power window swap lol... dont ask

We'll today i was blessed with getting a manual window door (by mistake of the auto wreckers who wont take the door back) to replace my current door which is power windows. I was wondering if it is possible to swap the power window equipment across and if anyone has ever done so, which im really doubting. I have all the interior peices and switches from my GXL with power window and door which has a working power window motor and lift arm and ****. Am i crazy to even try this? lol

The doors are the same. Good luck taking it apart and putting it all back together though

The swap is not that hard. As mentioned, it is the same door minus the PW hardware. Just remove the inner door panel from your old door and remove the PW regulator and install in the new door. Not hard at all. I've done it twice!

yah, just replaced my PW regulator last week. I took my time and it still only took me about 1 hr or so. Unbolt everything, pull it all out, stick it in the new door, bolt it all down and you're done. Doesn't even deserve a write-up it's so easy.

Well, we didn't say that!
Kidding! No, I think you'll be surprised at how easy it was. One thing to note, you might grab the FSM and print off the page for removing the door window before you do it. Might help you a little in understanding what you need to do.

I have done it also.
Got a manual door w/glass & installed my old electric window stuff.
It's all bolt up.
