Power window problems

well before it starts...

- i have searched here and google

well, my windows in my 1991 coupe worked fine until the other day. the drivers side didnt go down at all. well being hot as hell and the exhaust leak killing me. i rolled down the passenger window. aggrivated it helped. well today both of them didnt roll down. so both windows were stuck up. im running the AC but the car fogs up really bad on the windows with them up. i cant hear the motors working so its prolly the switch from what ive gathered so far. but today the drivers side rolled down with shocking suprise. lol. i rolled it back up tho b/c it looked like rain was on its way. i would check the fuses but my cover for the fuse box near the pedals is missing. lol. any help on this would be appriciated. thanks guys.

Its not a fuse. It is most likely a switch on its way out.

If its just from a cold solder joint, which it sounds like it might be, then they should be able to be repaired. Search for "repairing window switch" or something like that and see if you come up with something.
