Power window does not roll up all the way

Greetings, I have a 1990 vert that has an issue with the power windows. The driver's side will roll half way down, and almost all the way up. However I can't get it to completely make a seal. This is causing leakage and wind noise. I tried searching here, but got irrelevant results. I want to know if there is something I can lube that will fix this issue. The motor seems to be fine, however it just doesn't have enough power to over come the friction. Please help! It's cold out and I want my window to seal! Thanks!

Common problem on these cars. I think the problem is in the window channels combined with really old regulators so you get wobble in the regulator and it binds against the channels. I have never tried fixing one but I would think taking some pliers and spreading the channels a little wider to allow the window to move instead of binding would help. You can also lube the regulator slide assembly while you are in there.

Try lubing the mechanism and the tracks too.

Should I just use white lithium grease? Or does anyone have any better ideas?
