power stearing problems, HELP ME!!!!!!

i tryed this qusetion befor but got no answer

ok the problem is i have a 90 motor in a 88 car (N/A) and the power stearing rack has two lines that lead to the PS and the pump has only one fiting. plus the PS rack from the 90 car is broken (seized). i dont know what the extra smaler line does , is it a low preashure release or if its a high preshure release. can i get a short bolt and plug the line's hole? will it leak if i do so?

any help would be great thanx

isn't the entire PS system high-pressure? my ps coolant hardline blew a pinhole at the corner. i tried to fix it ghetto style but ended up having to get some high-pressure hose instead.

there's 2 big ps lines that loop the fluid into and out of the rack and there's a metal (non flexible) tube line that runs in parallel located in front of the rack. if you were standing in front of the car it would be nose, oil cooler, ps coolant loop, radiator ... well i have a turbo so.

i was going to just cut it off and seal the hole shut but i figured the designers put it there for a reason so i fixed it.
