Power roof stopped working ! still beeps when activated but no go ? anybody help re wiring diag etc cheers les

 

check the fuse? the motors mite have went(probably not tho) one of my motors dosent work in my pwr sunroof on my 86 gxl , try pushing upwards on the sunroof while pressing the button to open it, if that dosent work you can pop out that lil button and do it manually then check the tracks incase somthing is stuck in there if its none of those then im clueless

 

I have to push mine up in the back to get it to go. Gotta clean it I guess.

 

all i have to do is push mine up, but after that, it moves fine going backwards and forwards.

 

I know on mines that one of my latches is broke and it causes it not to move so that mabe the the case as well i would sugest getting a new one installed (like the motor and latches)

 

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about his convertible roof, not a sunroof.

 

yep it's the convertable roof not the sunroof thats the problem , not sure how it operates as only have the jap handbook & don't read japanese
