Power gains with standalone?

Depending on how well the car will dyno with the SAFC-II, I may decide to go standalone (Wolf 3D V4, I know an importer in town, so hey). i'm interested in having control over ignition timing and also I'm interested in more precise fuel control. My question is: how much more power could I gain from it? I understand that gains are typically based on how poorly my car is tuned, but on average how much power do non-turbo cars make with the addition of standalone EMS and a good tune? Just curious.

i think you should add that you have a S-charger, it may help with your replies.

I don't know how much power you are going to gain.... BUT.. the ability to set your timing and tune the fuel on the car is going to be a VAST improvement over the SAFCII...

Plus getting rid of all the junk you don't need out in the engine bay.....

If its a question of is it worht it for the power gains versus the cost.. the answer is still yes...

All that being said... I knwo nothing about the Wolf... I'm speaking Haltech here... but any programmable standalone, properly tuned is not only going to give you more power... its going to be more reliable and less likely to blow up your car!!

Also..... I think you alredy know that the SAFC just aint enough to handle your supercharger... You need more timing control.. especially in the high RPMS where your stock ECU and the SAFC are a timebomb waiting to grenade your motor..
