power door locks
hey guys i am installing power door locks and i opened up the door cover and noticed about 6 groups of wires that are terminated, is there a way i can connect my power door lock kit to an exsisting wiring in the car. none of the groups of wires go to anything.

The stock power lock is a follow me system. It uses a switch in the drivers door to activate a motor in the passengers door.
If you have a base or non power window FC, then you could use the extra wires for your aftermarket power door locks

lock... not locks.
Again the stock power lock system on the RX-7 (regardless of generation) only has a power door lock motor in the passengers door. No power door lock in the drivers door.
So when you lock the drivers door with the key or with the latch switch (inside latch) then it sends a signal to the lock the passengers door.
So even if you had the factory power door lock, you would need to wire in relays and mount a power door lock motor into he drivers door for any sort of keyless entry or power door lock system.
