Exclamation Power cuts out....

aside from my hesitation issue, on a cruize last nite i noticed my power cuts out, it rarely happens....

we were going up hill andi down shifted into 4th and went to give it gas and the revvs just died to an idle if i kept my foot on the gas, i took my foot off and went back on the throttle and power was back....

no noises other then the revvs falling as if i went into neutral....

any idea's?...

Yes sir. It didn't the same thing in my car when my TPS went haywire. I could cruise the car under light throttle but if I blipped it, it would act like it wasn't getting fuel and the revs would drop like crazy. Just sitting there in neutral see if you can flick the throttle a little. Mine would start up and then drop like I had let off the gas but I hadn't. Vac would stay the same but no revving. I could take it slowly past 4 grand but if I just hit it then it wouldn't do anything.

you know, i've been looking for an answer to this sorta problem, only mine is a little different, if i try to get to 4000 rpm's in a turn, my power will cut off and i have no idea why, the revs drop and once i straighten out from the turn, the throttle and everything comes back and i can speed up again, i noticed this when i was drifting around in a parking lot..........i lost power and almost hit a wall..........gained traction too soon, scared the shiet outa me and it happened to me just today to so yea any other opinions on why this happens?

I have a similiar thing with mine. Except mine will shut down when I rev out the motor over 5k. Sometimes if i let off the gas and get back on it comes back but most of the time I have to push the clutch in and let it die then just start the car up again.

I might have to check the tps again.
