Cool Power Capacity Of Na Transmission

I have a turbo II conversion in an NA rx7 series 4.I have 230 rwhp and im not sure what the na gearboxs capacity is i.e how much power can it hold.....is 260 rwhp asking for TROUBLE

i have some necessities

ive got a swiss cheese flywheel ,brass button clutch and 1 tonee pressure plate and juz have to get more fuel and the tuner said 260 EASY so ...

any more opinions about max horsepowerr

I don't think they rate them for HP. They are rated for Torque, but anyway i don't think the NA trannies are that great, there was a reason they made the TII tranny more stout.

200HP and about 170 ft/lbs are about all the M-type trannys are designed to handle.

While there are people claiming to run 200+ HP on the tranny, it does require a heavy duty clutch and a controlled smooth shifting style that most people do not have.

so saying that iam just bout finished building up my 13b full bridge port does that mean my tranny and drive line while *** up ?? ive got light fly wheel and heavy duty clutch with a 1 ton plate
