Power Brake & One way valve

Hey fullas, Ive seen pics of cars that have no one-way valve in the hose going from the brake booster to the intake manifold. Should I install it? I guess it should allow pressure to go from the intake to the booster but not return, is this correct? I made a pic so you can see.
Cheers.

Also you can see my percy block off plates.

Only if you are boosting and braking at the same time, but yes, it would be a good idea to install one.
