Pouring coolent - newbie question

Pouring coolent - newbie question

Can i just pour 50% water and 50% coolent into the place where i take off the silver radiator cap ? will the thermostat get in the way ?

or do i have to take out the top and take out the thermostat to pour in the coolent into hte block ?

sorry kidna a newbie question but better be safe then sorry

just twist off the cap on top of the radiator. it's fine to use 50/50 mix as long as your somewhere it doesn't get really cold outside. if so just make sure you run a higher rate of antifreeze than water in the winter time.
