I wanna paint my FC yellow. I wanna stay true to Mazda and go with the yellow from the RX-8, but I also like the yellow that Mitsubishi has. So go ahead, post pics of your (or someone else's) yellow FC. Pleace include color code and name if at all possible...thanks guys

 

why yellow? i thought the trade mark would be like red or super white you know the japanese flag colors

Not a fan of yellow.

But CYM from the 3rd gen is still the nicest looking yellow I've seen... for a yellow ******* car.

Yellow can be so hit or miss. I think that widebody FC would be a miss. Just turning down the "mustard yellow" on that car would have made it alot less ewwww.

 

The FC doesn't take well to yellow paint...I find that more traditional colors look good, especially dark metallics. If you want something a bit different, try the Infini IV black/green paint - it's a beautiful color. I have always though that an S5 in a charcoal gray metallic would look amazing.

I had wanted to paint my car a yellow, but surprisingly after reading through this thread I've decided against it. haha

 

If I were to go yellow (my daughter loves yellow cars and is bugging me to go yellow) it would be this shade. I think it looks the best of all I have seen, but dont know who's yellow it is or custom...

Tiers . . . I kinda like that yellow - it's got some orange in it, so it doesn't look like a banana.

 

The first few pics have a darker yellow, i dont like that....i like the bright yellow like on the RX-8 or the EVO 8

 

Honda S2000 yellow is good.

But I would tend to agree with going for red if your looking for traditional, but if you like yellow, don't listen to anybody and go with what you like, then there are no regrets . My image of a perfect FC3S is basically my avatar......
