Arrow Possible Interest In Aluminum Double Rotor Pullies made for FD Alternator

Is their an Interest In these?

In time, I will be adding them to my thread and distributing them. But I need to know If this Is worthwhile to go forward with. Prices haven't been determained but they will be hoovering around the same price as hIGGI's prices.

These Double Pullies will be exactly what you've seen with hIGGI's - except they will be made to fit for the FD Alternator.

Let me know!

Pics can be found here, FWIW. Mind you, they are FC Alternators for now.

Thats awesome! We just got a branch of "Bank of America" here. Now to save up for one. Have you weighed the pullies yet I want to know if they are lighter than the ones Tony includes with the alt.

Ok for those that don't know the conversion to ounces or pounds it is roughly 3.527 Oz or 0.22 Lbs

Definatly want one of these but I am in the midst of buying that lexan roof kit because my stocker is starting to rust on me and I don't want to go through the trouble of having mine sanded, smoothed, and repainted to match. Plus its lighter! But hopefully I will have enough left for the pully when I am done buying that and some other goodies.

Tony, Do you have an official weight for the regular dual pully you send off with FD alts? I have lost air tool capability for a while so I can remove/weigh mine.

Good question. I don't. I can tell you that they are not Aluminum though. Further, the weight savings will be substantial going with an Aluminum Pulley...

I did address this to my machinist early on. He had said that they are very hard to come by, let alone them being compatible with FD Alternators specific to the FC. I'll finally say that they are not easy to retro-fit to a FD Alternator and their Is alot of work being put Into these Pullies In order to make them fit.

If possible I will get mine weighed once I regain air tool capability.
