Exclamation Possible Coolant Seal Destruction!

what color does your coolant look like when u blow a seal? my car overheated last night and when i check the coolant this morning and its a nasty brown. is my motor screwed? it starts and runs perfectly fine, so i dont know.

you cant blow a coolant seal wihtout knowing it. if you blew one you would have huge clouds of coolant steam coming out of your exhaust.

you probably just broke loose a bunch of rust and **** from your cooling system. do a coolant flush and refill, and you should be fine. if you start using coolant, then you can worry.
