i was wondering if the dash (speedo meter/ rpm gauge...etc) lights can be changed to a darker red ??? is there LEDs or sumthing that gives off the color???

 

would be tough, LEDs don't provide enough ambient light to light the backs of the gauges all the way accross, you would have lighted areas where other areas would be dim. you could possiby get some higher amperage bulbs and put some red colored 'bulb condoms' over them but how well that would work i don't know..

wouldn't shining red light on red text make the text seem more....white?

It would be easy. Just put in red bulbs. I did this, before I switched to blue bulbs which looked better on my white gauges. You could also put some clear red tape behind the numbers.

 

corksport sells the led lights for the cluster..... red blue and clear I think..
