Possible causes for PASV ecu code 33
I understand exaclty what this does, and that it should recieve constant 2.5v after 20k miles, however, why would there even been an ECU code associated with this? I know that this code is not causing any issues but it will not fly in my state's emissions laws. What could possibly cause this code to show up? It's plugged in, it has the correct voltage as stated in prior threads regarding the issue, but it still throws a code 33 even after disconnecting the battery. Is there any negative side effects that I'm unaware of? What could be the possible causes for the code?

Got an idea... If the cat was clogged and the split air pipe pipe was not able to push air through the cat, would it split out to the PASV system and trip the code?
