I hope i don't bore you. but this his how it started. my car died on me.(weak alt) and my headlights were on. so i had god it towed to my place. its been sitting for the last week with the headlights in the up position. today i decide to boost her and get it up and running. and i did so. car started up fine. no worries there. but those damn lights wouldn't go down. so i checked all the fuses made sure the switch worked and such. everything was fine. so i turned the car off came inside and did a search on it. i found some stuff that helped me. like the manual **** that can be used to move them up and down. so i went back outside and was going to try a few more things. but wait a sec. the car was dead. the retractor motors were draining the batt. so i pulled the fuse. and boosted it again.

i put the lights down with the manual **** thinking maybe they were just stuck. put the fuse back in. and the lights went back up(switch was is on off). now i was confused. so i tried to put then down again with the fuse in, using the manual ****. as i started to put them down(about 1cm) the one light i was working on went down by itself and then back up again. and stayed there.

has this happened to anyone else? any ideas with what it could be? HELP?!!

so i have the fused pulled, i have yet to decide if i am going to keep them up all the way. or do a queer sleepy eye look... but anywise.

The retractor control switch? The one above the actual headlight switch. It raises and lowers the headlights without actually turning them on or off-

My headlights did something similar, the car was in an accident before I bought it, and something got messed up with the headlight motor. Flip the switch to the "up" position. Do they go down?
