porting wastegate, broke both bolts, oops

I snapped the heads off *both* bolts that hold the wastegate cover on, I think it will be OK because the 3 DP bolts will hold it tight, but just thought I'd ask what you guys thought, there's a lot of thread still sticking out, but I'm not sure I can get the remaining studs out.

bring the turbo to a welding or metal shop they should be able to replace the studs for you for a certian price...and I would drive around without those studs unless you like breathing in exhuast fumes

fair enough, I'm sure they can get them out with half an inch or so of thread left.

One of mine broke too. I just drilled it out, tapped it and threw a new bolt in.

I'll probably just ask the machine shop to do just that, I don't have the tools to tap it and it would be cheaper to pay someone to do it methinks.
