porting n/a housings

ive searched, nothing came up, if someone could help me out, or point me to a thread, that would be great.

im planning on a S5 13b in my 85 gs with a street port. has anyone ported the n/a housings? or do you just go ahead and get teh t2 housings so you dont have to grind out the "diffuser" if anyone could tell me how hard it actually is to grind it out that would be great.

I had a thread about this in the 1st gen forum. Search for it there. Some people cut the difuser plate out of the hole, some people take the entire steel insert out of the housing. Some say this isn't good cause the steel insert is there to keep the heat away from the aluminum. To take it out, or what happens to make them fall out, is that the roll pins on the side that hold the insert in fall out. Or you can drill them out.

It's pretty easy to just get a set of dead TII housings and then swap the difuser into the NA housings. Then you can do your porting.
