Port air solenoid valve?

My new car isn't running just yet, and was reporting a CAS code, which I've since fixed, and a code 33 for the port air solenoid valve. The only problem is, I cant find any referances to it besides the code table and the trouble shooting guide in the FSM. Can any one give me a run down on what it does and where its located?

The car is a 90 TII.

Just some genneral info about the problem:
Car won't start and is fouling plugs. Good spark from the coils, and fuel comes out when I take out the plugs and turn it over. I thnk its flooding. I've tried the fuse trick and the oil in the rotors trick. The only way I've been able to start it is by pull starting, and then it doesn't start very easily(takes a couple of tries) and it will only idle at 3000 (at least). I still need to try to burn out the rest of the oil, and then go from there.

The Port Air Solenoid is one of two on the ACV. It's the most fwd one. It is disabled by the ECU after 20,000 miles. But even then it still has 12v constantly on the black/white wire, one of two wires on the solenoid.

Ain't no way it's causing your problems. Just unplug it to confirm it isn't messing things up. It really can't mess things up.

The code might be being tripped because the port air solenoid valve is already disconnected. I find it hard to believe that code would cause a ECU to go into a limp mode. No way. So if it's already disconnected....reconnect it and see if the code goes away.
