Question Poping Sounds

I recently had the engine on my 1988 Turbo rebuilt and all seems fine. However, now, usually when the engine is cool, I get a couple of poping sounds the first time teh Turbo kicks in. It seems to settle down after that.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Is it something I should be concerned about?

Sounds like the engine is still in cold start mode and therefore running rich (by design). If that is the case, you shouldn't be boosting yet...Don't hit boost until the temp guage is in it's normal position...
