Plugs in wrong place a problem?

Would spark plugs not installed correctly, meaning that the leading and trailing plugs are installed wrong. What kind of problems could that create?

it could make the car not start and or create a bad or no idle...just do it right the first time...it says it right on there so you can't mess it up...just do one at a time

If your talking just the plugs, car should run and idle properly as some run 4 9's. Just a heat range difference. Now, if your talking plug wires also..... Different story.

Do you mean spark plugs, or spark plug wires? The wires would be a problem, but the plugs should not matter (a large number of people run the same leading and trailing plugs).
