can i buy plugs and wires for my T2 for 45 bucks? if not, how much will they cost me? regardless, what kind of plugs and wires should i buy? i've determined that all of my problems are coming from the second trailing spark plug, which seems to **** up the spark once the engine is hot. for instance, i went to kroger tonight and the car was running perfect (its about 50 degrees out so the engine was running cool) then i got on it a couple times (i try to redline it once every time i drive it) and the second time i redline it, that plug just seems to stop firing. i also noticed that one of my wires has a chunk missing out of it. so please inform me of which wires and plugs work the best for you guys.

You can get the NGKs for $30 from rx7.com and plugs for like $2 a piece from your local parts store(at least my local discount auto parts).

 

I still can't believe your prices. I pay $52can for a set of plugs at the dealer, with a discount!

 

and the dealer is only selling you NGK's.
