Hey everyone
I am going in an hour to check out an rx7 its a 87 with 100 000 miles on car and engine (so I am guessing engine will need to be replaced almost immediatly) its a california car...now I am just wondering what sort of checks should I do??? I know with the 3rd gen check for alot of **** but what about this one?

its the gxl model dont know if that matters..oh and asking price is 3500 Canadian

If your bound and determined to get it run a search for common problems under the 2nd gen forum.

That's Candian Paseos, so if it's in very good condition that's not too much. 100k miles (~160,000km) does not mean new engine time for an n/a IF properly cared for. Even a TII engine should have another 20k miles or so left in it. The GXL is an upper model so that helps justifies the price.
