Ok I bought this piece for 150$...It drove but had bad idle then just stoped starting after that. No smoke at all. Anyways I bought the car in pieces. But put everything back together...Heres the rundown..

Crank car over and nothing. Just cranking. Smell exaust and not really any fuel smell at all.

Car has this switch that constintly pumps fuel. When you turn it. You can hear the pump pumping.
I look at the fuel gauge and it reads 32psi when swich is on. But I leave it off because it seems pointless.

Also I have a fuel cut off switch. I turn it both ways and no difference in sounds or no catching at all when I switch it while cranking.

Plugs and fuel lines are hooked as well as injectors and wiring harness stuff.

My theory is that even if it was flooded the car should at least make a grabing sound when hiting the fuel cut..
If car had low compression it should also make a catching sound.
I will check spark tomorow. Thier does seem to be alot of fuel pressure.

 

so its for sure getting fuel at the fuel rail? you might want to run the pump and feal to make sure its running. what year and type of RX-7 is it, have you tried push starting it?

 

When the pump is on you can definatly hear it. Then the PSI gauge goes to 33 so doesent that mean fuel is coming out ? Pluss if I disconect the thing fuel leaks out so im sure its getting to the injectors. I think..hehe.

Its a 88TII...

Have not tried push starting it. If its not remotely even cathing during cranking then pushing it wont help I dont believe. After I make sure thiers fuel and spark. I will push start it with my GEO

TO check the ignition I will just stick a pencil on one lead of the wire at a time.

For fuel I dont know. Im sure theirs fuel. Ill check the plugs.

 

when my car flooeded it sounded like the motor for the start was just turning but it was actually turning the engine took me a while to get it started but i got it started.
