Please help. My car having difficulty to start during Hot.

Hi guys.

I'm having this problem with my FC3S, and this worries me. During cold start my car have no problem with it. But after driving it for like 20 minutes to reach my destination. I stop for a break like 10 minutes break, then get back to the car, and this is when my car having difficulty to start. The engine keep cranking. I need to step on the accelerator to pump in some gas, then only I manage to start the engine. Is this normal?....

I'm running standard FC3S series 5 turbo, walbro 255 fuel pump and after market boost control, and running on high boost 0.8 Bar (11.6 PSI)...

Please advice...

Leaky injectors or low compression.

On a series five, if you hold the pedal down while starting, the fuel will be cut. Or put a better way, the fuel injectors won't operate as long as the pedal is down. If the engine is flooded, you hold the pedal down so no more fuel will be added to the already too rich condition.

Playing with the pedal on a engine that is not running has no effect on FUEL delivery. You might get more air, and that's about all that happens when the pedal is up/down/up/down.........with the exception that fuel is cut when the pedal is all the way down. It's actually the tps output signa to the ECU that's cutting the signal to the fuel injectors, when you put the pedal to the floor.

+1000 leaky inj. or +259 it is low compression.

Use a fuel cut switch to relieve fuel line pressure and kill the engine or better yet pull the plug on the circuit opening relay inside the car near the steering shaft behind the power steering computer. Plug it in, and see how it starts.

Thanks for all your reply guys.

Ok, theres one more thing i wanna point out. Just tested out. When I was driving fast with high boost 0.8bar, then the engine have difficulty to start when hot. But when I was driving low boost and drive normal like daily driving, the car can start during hot easily.....

So if low compression or injector leak, this wont happen right?...

I have a question regarding the flooding problem. I have had the car not want to start after driving and letting it sit for a few minutes before.

When you guys say the car won't start, what do you mean? Because the problem I encounter the starter doesn't even turn over, but the relay clicks. Is this what you mean, or does the starter keep turning but the car never ignites? Thanks alot.

My case is the engine keep cranking (starter keep turning) but never ignite
