Whoa, getting a lil desparate, arent we ? Chill, the world wont come to an end if you dont have a car for a couple of weeks...
From what you are saying, seems like flywheel or clutch. Either one -or both - is shot, so you will need some tranny work

what r u going to do when the mr2 has a problem? which it will!

i suggest u fix the problem. as ace said it shouldn't be such a big problem

u just lose out big time if u keep selling cars when they have a problem

Dont know the guys or the shop (I'm from Greece, after all ), but if they said they'll inspect it for free, then you shouldnt have a prob. Its not the synchros, should not be the clutch (can you smell the clutch, or does it slip badly when shifting ?). It could be the clutch (but you should have some notification earlier), or the flywheel. In either case, you must have the tranny opened and examined

I'll bet the clutch has high miles, and/or an amateur rebuild. The guys are on the right track to pull the tranny. With luck only the clutch pilot bearing is bad, and the input shaft is still OK.
