Please help me!
I found an '89 turbo 2 for sale today. The guy said he was driving it one day and it "just started losing compression". Does the engine need to be rebuilt? If so, how much does it cost, and who around the Baton Rouge/New Orleans area can do it?

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Do a compression test on it. That'll tell you if it needs to be rebuilt.

Must...scrub...parts...
How many miles does it have? If it's in good shape and you have the money (3-4k) for the rebuild, install, other problems, etc..., then i'd say it's worth it.

Buy it now. If you dont, ill find it, trade him my n/a straight up and take it. Even if the motor is blown... and the exterior is SHITTY, its STILL worth atleast 2K. Just tell him yep, the motor's blown and see if you can get him down to 700 cash
You'll be one hell of a lucky guy.
