help me i have a 1989 turbo II car that i am pulling the motor in. i have got to the ecu and unhooked the three plugs going into it problem is there are a billion other stupid plugs all of which i have finally unhooked except for the following: there is one section of harness going back along the sill behind the seat which looks like it is connected to the door switch so i'll have to pull the passenger seat out to unhook the grounds. then continue following it back until i find a connector there is also another connector going up inbetween the blower motor and the firewall WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNHOOK nor have i even located that connector...my harness comes through the firewall and then splits (forks basically) one section is the three plugs going to the ECU the other section goes to every other thing which has decided to try its best to **** me off and it has this is where the problem is...please if you have any pics or knowledge you could possibly send my way i would greatly appreciate it ...i have called our local mazda guru and he says that the harness's should unhook from each other via a connector right near the firewall so only the section of harness with the ecu plugs will be removed through the firewall i don't think that is right but hey looks like i'm doing something wrong so please any help will be greatly appreciated oh by the way i doubt i will be this lucky but if anyone is in the southern indiana area and would like to come help i will pay you $$$$ thanks

yes, only the harness with the three plugs at the ecu should have to come out. any other harness should stay attatched to the car.
