Question Please help! Does anyone know what this part is?

hey guys i was gong down the road the other day when this part of my motor caught on fire, i cleaned off the sensor that was cover in **** and all but idk what it is so i cant replace it...all i know is the part connects to the bottom end of the intake manifold just before it bolts to the block PLEASE HELP

That "Looks" like air control valve that regulates the air pump air.

Someone else correct me if I am wrong.

or just the solenoid from one. it's not a sensor, just a small plunger type solenoid that screws into the housing.
