Please Help asap

on my way to work this morning, car started up fine, left it warm up a bit, drove about 6 miles to a gas station. turned her off and went in. when i came out to leave, car turnes over but doesnt start, lights all come on, guages are all working, just keeps turning. i would search but i dont have the time, at work, please respond. thank you...

Sounds like the car may have flooded.

First check that there is gas in the tank, with that said go ahead and try the unflooding procedure. When you take the spark plugs out and examine them, if the ceramic part on the bottom is black you may just need to replace those, I'd go ahead and try the unflooding procedure, which from experience the first time may take a few tries. Make sure when it finally starts that you hold the gas to keep the rpms up. If that fails after a few tries go ahead and get plugs and/or wires. If that fails then something is wrong with some part of the fuel system, most likely the filter or the fuel pump. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Good luck.

6 miles, your car would have warmed up quite a bit already.....
but do try the unflooding prodecdure

i would say do all u can before u get new plugs and wires and whatnot, because its probably not as bad as u think.....

Yeah, thats why I listed the other things besides just saying the unflooding procedure, because the car would have to have horrible compression to not start after all of that. Also, if it's an auto try putting it in neutral to start it, sometimes the nut can slip and it won't always go all of the way into park. Check to make sure all hoses are connected too.
