I have just obtained a 89 covertable. It has a turbo and a front mount intercooler. The engine harness is spliced together and it has a 353 computer in it. It runs terrible, seems to run rich, fouling plugs. Can this ecu be ran for a turbo or is it wrong. I bought it this way and have seen alot but it is beyond my knoledge. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated.

 

if that is the vert. ECU it will work if the boost is around stock i believe? it pulls the timing.
