please explain n/a- turbo coolant feed
Ok guys thios is probably a really dumb question but several peopel have suggested I use the nipple on the rear housing to draw coolant for my turbo.
The only nipple i see is right baout the temp guage, is this what your talking about? if so, how does it work, i mean the nipples just sittign there, no coolant flowing if thats the right one.

only way to access the water jacket would be drill directly through the water jacket below the intake manifold, not an ideal location since it is right above the exhaust manifold and very little to no clearance, i think slpin was thinking of a turbo intake on an n/a block in which case you can just drill the coolant port on the rear housing to get coolant to flow through the true line going to the turbo from the lower intake. in this case though it is easier to just use SS lines and run from the top coolant port on the rear iron under the upper intake manifold and drill a return port in the lower water pump inlet.

I just ran mine the exact same way they had it routed to the cold start, line from the waterpump nipple -> turbo -> rear iron nipple.
Haven't had any issues.
