Please explain fuel

Could someone explain to me how the fuel system works? Do you need a AFC to control fuel or does the a fuel pressure regulator do that? If I got a wabro and fuel pressure regulator, would I need an AFC?

I'm planning on getting a fcd so I can turn the boost up to about 10-12 psi. What fuel mods would I need and how much would it run?

you need the acf to controll larger injectors the acf controls the a/f ratio, a pressure regulator does what its name says regulate the feul pressure.

Ok. The fuel pump pumps fuel through the lines. The fuel pressure regulator keep the pressure in the line at a fixed pressure. Now you have injectors which is controlled by a computer. If you know the pressure of the fuel line and you know how much fuel flows through the injector in a certain amount of time, you can control how much fuel goes in the engine. An AFC controls the how fast and how long the injectors fire.
