PIX Stage II T2 project

today i took off the ac and power steering, took off the fan and shroud, removed the primary and secondary fuel rails, disconected both oil cooler lines, disconected fuel lines.

things left to do are unbolt motor mounts and unbolt the tranny then pull the engine

sorry about the first two pics dunno why they are blurry, i think its cause it was getting dark outside

What are you slapping on to make 12 second passes? Is the suspension workin fine?

Is your FD ever going to be done?

I took out the a/c comp this weekend too. What a pain in the *** that was! My friggin Hayes said that there are only 3 fastening bolts on the sanden comp but there are in fact four. I unbolted the 3, and then spent a hr trying to figure out why it would not budge! Oh well, its out now.

Let me know if you ever need an extra pair of hands.

it will run 12's with a street port, bigger secondaries, and more boost. hell it ran 13.70 on street tires with tired low compression engine and only 11psi of boost the car has tokico illumina's and eibach springs already. probably gonna make a custom NPR fmic too

FD what FD ?

the ac compressor wasn't too bad to take out. took me about 15mins. the whole thing has been pretty easy so far. gotta rip out the radiator too just gotta drain it. i'm gonna mazdacomp today so i can get a discount on all the factory parts i need. i gotta start looking for a manual steering rack. gotta order some SS braided oil cooler lines, maybe a fluidyne radiator, yadda yadda while the car is in 10,000 pieces
