Pinion Snubber and No diff mount???

I am very very very very very fed up with my SE.

The subframe side if the diff mount has broken and there isn't much for it to grasp anymore and it just broke again today.

I do not want to swap subframes since it's a waste of my time on this POS while I try getting my GTU back up and running.

What If I installed just a pinion snubber and left the shitty diff mount as is???

As long as there is very little space between the diff and sub it might work.

I might weld it but that will take me time and MONEY to find a welder. I could probably do the snub this weekend if needed since this is my ONLY daily driver now.

I plan to sell the ******* car in a month once I get the Jspec in the GTU so the least amount spent on this the better.

I might be doing this since removing some carpet and drilling a hold is way easier and quicker than welding and I don't care if this doesn't last a year this way. As long as it lasts till the end of the year.

The pinion snubber is the only way I see the stock diff mount working in any kind of hard use. I would do it. I will do the same when I get my hands on and LSD and drop my rear subframe.
