And 50 bucks is a LITTLE steep. I would pay 30.. but I don't think I can justify 49.00 + shipping.
can these be tig welded?

i was considering getting these sleeve inserts because i have an intake manifold gasket leak, so i thought maybe why not try it since im replacing the gasket anyway? but definatley if i can get them welded i'll post pictures

PR has instructions on how to install them. You just ding/dent the edge of the sleeve, and the insert cannot move. link

I was thinking of ordering these this weekend instead of the Pineapple racing inserts.

Anyone tried using these ones yet?

Spend the money on exhaust is what Chris from RP told me. He actually talked me out of a street port, which he would have made $400 on. He told me to port the exhaust, and leave the intake alone. I did so and haven't been happier with what I have. I have done everything to keep my car stock spec, but the exhaust porting minus the street porting has done so much, I can't bitch at all. It isn't a turbo, but almost as fast.

thats some odd advice, its usually finding the perfect balance between intake and exhaust. Reffering to the atkins aux port inserts, it seems like this is a proper addition to my fc to go along with a full exhaust setup im currently putting together.

are you driving an s4 or s5?
