Pilot lube & PP ID?

I'm replacing the T/O & pilot bearings on my 87 TII. How much lube (what kind?) should be applied to the pilot bearing upon reassembly? The PP was in great shape (from RP, yellow w/ 15 fingers, is this an ACT xtreme?) so I ordered a new 6 puck ACT from RP on Rocky's recommendation. $123.95 shipped. I know I saw these cheaper somewhere, but couldn't remember where & needed it here by Friday. Ok, now I'm just rambling. TIA all.

the pilot bearing doesnt need that much grease, just put enough to cover all the needles. you dont really want to much, also put a little on the input shaft

oh yeah, what kind... any autoparts store will have it. just ask someone or look for some high temp high pressure grease. it'll say on the container, same kind you get for wheel bearings or anything
