Talking Pictures of my RX

I just got her running again, I fixed a power draw which was killing my battery, the ignition (it now shuts off with the key) and the exhaust which was broken off at the header. Thought I'd share with you all.

And of course, my car wouldn't be complete without the fish.

Is your radio surround broken? If it is then the rest of the car is worthless...

(...but it looks soooo nice and clean...lol... )

By radio surround, I assume you mean the piece that goes from the A/C vents down to the lighter, that meets with the shifter piece. It isn't broken.

I'll score ya some interior shots, hold on.

Cool

The interior isn't quite ready for show yet.

Here's some pics. (Sorry it's already getting dark here.)

In the back there I'm mounting my amp inside the cabinet. I'm hoping to cover it with an acrylic lid of some kind. And the stereo isn't hooked up yet, I don't have an aftermarket faceplate or anything.

Otherwise, it's in pretty good shape.

KONIG

No idea what model or whatever... the previous owner sold the car with these bad boys on. I love them. They do have a small bit of rust on 'em though... that kinda bothers me but for now, they are nice.

Good to know, I had no idea what kind of KONIGs they were... never cared to find out, really. But it's good that I know now.

Yeah, I'm looking at those Tein springs... on eBay, about 150 bucks with shipping. Anyone used them? Are they any good?

I don't like to be forced.
Different strokes for different folks.

Ask Karak about the Tein springs, he said you might have to modify them to avoid rubbing, otherwise he said they are l337.

Nice car FYI.

Just out of curiousity what was causing the power draw?

Eibach makes very good springs. I've heard the good things about their progressive rate springs, but I cant say anything from experience. Ground control makes a good coil-over kit that uses eibachs, but they arent progressive rate (mine arent, at least). I dont remember how much, I've got the reciept somewhere at home.

I have eibach on my 7, and racing beat on my miata, both on tokico shocks.. In PA (pothole capitol of the world), I'd rather have the Eibach, but if that's not a problem (shouldn't be for you in TX), then I'd probably go racing beat.. they're both awesome, though

Personally, I'd take off the fish.. no religious reasons at all, I'm all about no external logos

Two wires that shouldn't have been hooked together - that also fixed the ignition, which now turns off with the key. No idea what they do, they aren't hooked up now and everything runs great. Must be extra options.
