Could have a leak, mine does and its loud as hell.

or it could just be the transition to a 'vert, it's louder without a real top.

btw, I like the steering wheel. I need one of those, my airbag one looks raggedy. I also need new seats, and idiot light cluster, headrest speakers in the seats, radio, front right bushings, full exhaust. But my shiny new rotor keychain sure looks good hanging from my ignition switch.

Great find! That appears to be a near mint car! I know you wanted a white one, but believe me, you'll stop feeling like you had to "settle" for black soon enough! Mine is black, and it looks sexy as hell! (I, too, have the turbo hood, but also have the S5 front lip and turbo sideskirts on mine.)

It's too bad I just saw this thread, there was a mint factory '91 vert stereo that just went on eBay that I could have turned you on to... Try to keep all the stock speaker locations intact when you get your tunes going, the headrest speakers are a kick-*** feature of this car, I play with mine all the time!

Wind 'er up past 5500 rpm to feel the VDI kick in, you should feel a little extra tug of hp, and the exhaust will take on a much different tone, even louder than usual...

Enjoy!

ps.. your car( in case i didnt make it clear enough the first time) is f- ing baddass

much respect!! its beautiful..and you standing next to it as a woman just makes it a better looking package!!

if you get the chance post more pics of your seats and interior..etc..us vert owners like to see a nice looking vert that is well kept!! cuz most of us have really nice looking verts with "project type interiors"
LOL! Thank you.

I'll have some interior pictures sometime tonight, I think. We took some earlier today, but probably won't get them done by tonight / tomorrow.

I'll also be posting some video / sound clips

The car was mostly garage kept and barely driven but on weekends, if at that. Thanks for the comment about me standing next to it

Yeah. The wheel is very nice, I must say nicer than the GXL's wheel There's no airbag in it, but you can put it back in if you want... IMO, I wouldn't.

Can you actually get new head rest speakers in the 'vert?

I believe so. After I get my exhaust, I'm going to tear into my seats. I could do it know, but I hate getting the work done before I have the money to do anything about it.

Enterior / Engine pics:

I'm very impressed that it backfires.... lol. Thought it could only backfire if it had a modified exhaust or a straight pipe!

Thanks.

I read your signature, how did you get a japan import? Like.. is it RHD or the US standard? Or is NZ RHD too? How hard was it to import a jap. car?
