it's my daily driver man...
and northside?? are you kidding, i live up there...but then again, i work in the down town area so every morning i head south and every evening i head up north...speaking of which, i haven't seen your ae round town either...and how many miles you got on that new engine now???

 

Up too about 750 or so .. I have a small oil leak i am trying to track down. I will fix that this weekend and be back on the road. But right now its parked until i fix that drip. i want perfection

I havent drove it much around town at all .. mostly highways 12, 88, 49 that area.

 

I think its K8 Tornado Silver Metallic or 3G Shadow Silver Metallic.

Seems like all the other ones are "crystal" looking or "off white silver."

Even looking at the paint chips, you can't really tell what the color is until you see it on the car.

i don't believe mine is shadow silver metallic...i took the pic when it was almost dark out and it looks a little dark, but it's nowhere close to the other 3 shadow silver metallic rx7s you labeled...mine is more of a ligher silver, but not like the artic either...i don't know how to describe it since i'm not too good with paint colors and all, but (looking out in the parking lot) it looks like the silver on the acura mdx (starlight silver metallic)...anyway, i'll take another pic of mine today in the light and you can "re-label" it then...

 

Is it OEM paint. That's an 86-88, so I'm assuming it's been repainted.

 

OK guys......the car with the SSR Competitions is mine and ther color is Winning Silver Metallic which is color code 1F and was available on 89-90 GXL only in the US market.I think it was a late year addition color for 88, so there are some 88 GXL/GTU in that color too. No US turbos in 1F. The Initial D car is also Winning Silver, but that is in Japan and its been repainted.

looks very good. The more i see silver 2nd gens, the better they look. ANd they already looked good to begin with.
